Where are your servers located?
Our servers are located in the UK, EU and USA, with our headquarters in the UK and administration offices in Nigeria. For users in Nigeria and West Africa, an EU server is generally a good starting point; actual performance depends on network routes and your application. Our shared and UltraFast hosting plans always combine at least two server locations to support performance. We do not currently have physical server infrastructure in Africa. VPS Growth is our 8GB RAM option. If your project requires a Nigerian public IPv4 address, contact us before paying so we can confirm whether we can meet that requirement. The server's physical location and the country reported for its IP are different checks. A dedicated IP is not a promise of a Nigerian IP address.
Choose a location for your audience
- Start with an EU server if most of your users are in Nigeria or West Africa. We also have servers in the UK and USA. The best choice depends on where your users are and the networks they use, so a region alone is not a latency guarantee.
- If a project needs a particular country, ask us to confirm the exact server location available for the plan before you order.
- Our headquarters are in the UK, and our offices in Nigeria handle administration. Our servers are in the UK, EU and USA. We do not currently have physical server infrastructure in Nigeria or elsewhere in Africa.
How shared and UltraFast hosting use server locations
- Our shared and UltraFast hosting plans always combine at least two server locations to support performance.
- If your project has a specific country requirement, ask us to confirm the locations used for your chosen plan before ordering.
If you need a Nigerian public IPv4 address
- Tell us before paying if your application must use a public IPv4 address reported as Nigerian. Include the service or IP-country checker that must accept it, as different geolocation databases can report different results. Do not assume a standard VPS plan meets this requirement.
- A physical server location, an IP address country and an office address are separate things. A UK, EU or USA server, a dedicated IP, or our Nigeria office does not establish that an IP will be recognised as Nigerian.
- Use the Contact page at www.vastgig.com/contact/ to confirm whether the required IP option can be supplied with your chosen plan. If a Nigerian IP is essential, wait for that confirmation before ordering.
Which plan has at least 8GB RAM?
- VPS Growth is listed with 8GB RAM, 4 CPU cores, 100GB NVMe storage and 1 dedicated IP. The ordering catalogue calls this plan VPS VG I. Compare the current plan details at www.vastgig.com/vps/ and check the selected configuration and price before ordering.
- RAM capacity does not determine server location or IP country. The included dedicated IP does not, by itself, confirm a Nigerian public IPv4 option. Ask us to confirm the IP type, country requirement and server location for the same configuration.
What to send us before you order
- Tell us what your application does, where its users are, the minimum RAM, CPU and storage it needs, and whether you need help managing the server.
- State any mandatory server country or public IPv4 requirement, including the service that must recognise the IP country. Ask for the plan, physical server location and IP requirement to be confirmed together.
- If you already have a service issue, sign in to your client portal and open Support with the affected service and a description of the issue. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or payment-card details.
