What happens if my domain expires?

An expired domain can stop your website and email from working. Open your account, choose Domains, select the domain and check Status and Expiry date in Overview. Renewal or recovery depends on the domain extension, its current stage and payment timing. Open Support → New Ticket, select Domain and ask us to confirm the next step and cost. Paying an old invoice does not by itself prove that the domain has renewed or been recovered.

Check the domain and invoice

Sign in and check the selected client account. Open Domains, find the exact name and select it. In Overview, read Status, Expiry date, Next due date and Renewal price. The invoice due date and domain expiry date are separate dates.
Open Billing and review any invoice for that domain. Note its number, status and the domain-renewal charge. A bank debit, payment screenshot or Paid invoice is different from a completed renewal.
If the domain is registered with another provider, contact that provider about its expiry. Pointing its website to our hosting does not move its registration to us.

Ask about renewal or recovery

Open Support, choose New Ticket and select Domain under Department. In Subject, enter Expired domain renewal. In Message, give the domain name, status, expiry date and related invoice number. Say whether you have already paid, then choose Open ticket.
Ask us to confirm whether the domain can still be renewed or recovered, the total cost and which invoice to pay. There is no single grace period or recovery deadline for every extension. Do not assume that a domain shown as expired or in redemption can still be recovered.
For a domain that still offers online renewal, the route is Contacts & renewal → Renewal & transfer → Renew domain. Follow our domain renewal guide. If the section says Online renewal is unavailable for this domain, continue through your ticket rather than placing a new registration or transfer order.

Confirm the outcome

After payment, return to Billing to check the invoice and Domains → Overview to check the domain status and expiry date. Ask us to confirm any renewal whose result remains unclear; do not pay or order again while it is being checked.
Keeping the domain and keeping hosting are separate tasks. A completed domain renewal does not renew hosting, restore deleted website files or recreate mailboxes. If the domain has renewed but the website or email still fails, include that detail in your ticket.
